VRUKSH A SCHOOL FOR SPECIAL CHILDREN is functioning under Anandha Charitable Trust, which is an 80G and CSR certified institution.
Vruksh is a Special School rendering services successfully since 2011 to the people with special needs in various aspects.
Vruksh supports a variety of students facing unique Physical and Intellectual Challenges. Besides, it is a heterogeneous population with respect to age. Vruksh currently serves students from 3 years to 48 years.

Early Intervention
Children with any kind of development delay — gross/fine motor, speech, cognitive, social-emotional, or sensory — when provided with guided support and therapy from a very early stage, stimulates the young brain which has the highest ability to rewire itself. Students between the ages of 13 and 18 years are enrolled in the Pre-Vocational Group. The program focuses on developing core competencies — counting, sorting, cutting, pasting, stacking, filing, packing — as prerequisites for future vocational skill training.

This specialized training program is tailored for students at Vruksh who utilize non-text visual learning and intensive repetition. By focusing on auditory-visual product recognition and practical, calculator-assisted billing math, this pipeline prepares students for sustainable employment. The curriculum expands into hands-on logistics, training students in stacking order procurement to safely load and stage inventory. Trainees also master product weighing and packing, concluding with an order disbursement routine where final deliveries are verified and handed off to customers.

Vision Narrative
Vruksh consists of all types of students who are different and unique in their degree of physical and intellectual disabilities. Moreover, it is a heterogeneous group with respect to age. Vruksh is right now serving from 3 years old child to 48 years old adult.
As their needs are different, we need variety of material to teach them and also to provide therapy. Hence it is must to be customized as per their need to bring a visible progress in them.
Children below 10 need intensive physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech language therapy, sensory integration, special education, play therapy, visual motor therapy, music therapy, etc., but the quantum of specific therapy depends upon their degree of disability and disorders.
To provide the above mentioned therapies under one roof in an effective way we need more space. In very short future, we wish to have a better infrastructure with the help of many good hearts.
For adults, we wish to provide them employment by constructing a Hypermart where all groceries and cafeteria will be set. The skills developed in the school ambience will be applied in the workplace, so that all will emerge as earning members, thus their self-esteem will be enhanced and will become self-reliant.
The ultimate point is if they are placed in some organization, the understanding of the people around them may be inconsistent. Hence that problem will be resolved, since all are people with special needs. As a team they will be working under the supervision of us, the so-called normal human beings.
All the special needs adults cannot read the product name even after so many years of training. Hence we have planned to design an application software which is very much friendly to all the students of vocational group.
Recently we have designed an application software exclusively for Vruksh vocational group special needs adults, and started training them too.
To make the above mentioned dream projects into reality, we need financial support from many well-wishers. Urge is there in our hearts to do more and more to the people with special needs, but how?
Little drops of water make the mighty ocean. To make this project a successful one, like-minded people should integrate with each other. He will take care of this to make everything fall at the right place at the right time.
